Ingenious Med Reports Another Record Month
With Nine New Clients and Eight Renewals in October
Ingenious Med, The Inpatient Practice Management Experts™, reported another record month in October with new licenses sold to nine institutions, signifying their commitment to IM Practice Manager™ as the software choice for managing their inpatient practices. Eight existing clients also signed contract renewals in the same period. Several of these renewal contracts were 3-year agreements. Ingenious Med is the only provider in the nation exclusively devoted to inpatient practice management solutions.
The nine institutions and practices that purchased new licenses are: Alaska Heart Institute, Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Hospitalist Services Medical Group, Hospitalists of Northern California, Shasta Critical Care Specialists, Southern Hospitalists, TSG Resources, Inc., Valley Baptist Medical Center, and Hospitalists of South Florida.
"Our revenue for the month increased 200 percent over the same period last year," reported Steven Liu, MD, CEO of Ingenious Med. "We attribute this performance to both an increasing number of licenses sold within existing accounts, as well as through sales to new institutions. I'm particularly pleased to see that a wide range of specialty practices from cardiology to psychiatry are finding IM Practice Manager just as beneficial as hospitalist practices, which historically have been our core market."
Ingenious Med's flagship software program, IM Practice Manager, is an ASP application which uses the Internet to enable physicians and administrators to enter and access patient, rounding and practice information using a variety of platforms including PC desktop, Tablet PC's and hand held PDAs. Physicians can enter or access information in real-time from any web-enabled location.
IM Practice Manager frees rounding physicians from the burden of capturing charge and clinical data on paper. The software enhances revenue through coding & documentation tools, validation algorithms and office workflow solutions. IM Practice Manager integrates with both hospital and billing systems to provide a paperless environment, thus reducing lost charges and denials, and allowing physicians to focus on patient care. Practice managers find that IM's comprehensive offering of business intelligence reports provide actionable data summaries, which are invaluable in understanding both individual physician and overall practice performance. IM clients report increases in individual physician collection revenue ranging from 20 to 50 percent.
Ingenious Med's nationwide customer base includes over 100 institutions rounding at over 350 hospitals, with clients ranging from large, national groups to single users in private practice. The company's largest market is hospitalists, however, other specialty groups are increasingly choosing Ingenious Med as their practice management solution.
