New Professionals Join the Ingenious Med Team

Ingenious Med, The Inpatient Practice Management Experts, announces a significant staff expansion in both sales and information technology.

"I am pleased to welcome the addition of six talented, experienced professionals", said Steve Liu, M.D, Ingenious Med CEO. "This expansion reflects the growing demand for our services among hospitals, hospitalist groups and inpatient practitioners."

The new employees are:

Rebecca Oliver, Regional Sales Manager. Most recently, Oliver was employed by GE Medical as a Women's Healthcare Manager. Previously, she was National Accounts Manager for Xerox Corporation. In addition, she has worked for IBM in various positions, including hardware/software/services sales. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Oliver earned an economics degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

David Lindey, Regional Sales Manager. Lindey has several years of experience with such companies as Oracle Corp, GE Healthcare Information Technologies, and Philips Medical. He completed the Advisory Board Company's Healthcare University and has been a Six Sigma Greenbelt since 2003. Originally from Yarmouth, Maine, Lindey graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.

Cortney Kirouac, Sales Account Manager. Most recently, Kirouac worked as a Clinical Nutrition Technician and Formula Technician for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Egleston Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia. Kirouac is a Registered Dietician as well as a Licensed Dietician. She attended Georgia State University from 2003-2005 where she completed a combined dietetic internship as well as a Masters of Science degree in Health and Human Sciences with a concentration in Nutrition.

Randy Astle, Senior Systems Architect. Astle has extensive experience and expertise in software development. Astle comes to us from Home Depot where he worked as a lead developer, responsible for the design and development of several Home Depot applications.

Peggy Shippee, Senior Developer. With 17+ years in the Information Technology field, Shippee's focus is on database conversions, queries and query performance tuning. A native of Atlanta, she graduated from Berry College.

Andrew McKinley, Senior Developer. He comes to IM with 29 years of IT experience in the private, utility and government sectors. McKinley is a graduate of Lincoln University of Missouri and a native of East St. Louis, IL.

Dr. Liu added that the company is also expanding its headquarters. Ingenious Med's office will double in size to accommodate the continuing rapid growth of the company.
