About the Speaker:
Dr. Steven Liu is the founder of Ingenious Med as well as the original creator of Ingenious Med’s flagship product, IM Practice Manager, originally launched under the name IMBILLS. He is currently the Director of Medical Informatics for the Hospital Medicine Unit at Emory University and the previous Medical Director at one of Emory’s hospitals. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine for the Section of Internal Medicine and a practicing hospitalist. Before his pursuit of medicine, Dr. Liu received a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Virginia. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Washington University, Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Dr. Liu is actively involved in multiple projects involving revenue cycle optimization and government Pay-for-Performance drives. He is an active member of the Society of Hospital Medicine and currently sits on the Society’s National Practice Analysis committee.
