Fueled by Growth, Ingenious Med Expands, Adding 11 to Team
ATLANTA, GA – October 1, 2008 - Ingenious Med (IM), the leader in inpatient practice management information systems, announces a company-wide growth initiative intended to keep pace with unprecedented growth in the company’s client base as well as the exponentially growing community of hospitalist and inpatient specialist practitioners. In the past three months, Hospitalist Services of Central Alabama, IMRS Faculty Hospitalists, General Internal Medicine of Lancaster, Maryland Inpatient Care Specialists, and Hawaii Pacific Health, have chosen IM Practice Manager™ to automate their charge capture, manage their practice, optimize physician performance, and demonstrate quality of care. In addition, many existing clients, such as Firsthealth of the Carolinas (an IM client since 2002) have expanded usage. According to Shirley Vaulk, Business Manager at Firsthealth of the Carolinas, “Firsthealth is very pleased with IM Practice Manager™, and our group will only continue to grow.”
In response to continued growth, Ingenious Med has moved to a newer, larger facility in the company’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. A customized office now accommodates the needs of an expanded technology and development staff as well as providing space suited for meeting the increased customer service needs of nearly 4,000 IM users. The new facility is 5,200 square feet with the option to be built out as the IM family grows. In addition, 4 new staff members have been hired in development and other areas in the last 2 months and 7 new positions have been allocated for hiring in order to continue to expand and support the company’s offerings.
With added depth to their internal talent pool, Ingenious Med will be positioned to take hold of future technological development as well as increase the satisfaction of existing IM users. “We always look for the very best people to bring on board, and look forward to what their expertise will bring,” said Mike Pickering, Ingenious Med COO/CTO. “Our standards are high so that we can ensure we are always ready to assume the role of trusted advisor to our industry friends. We intend to reach out and share from our internal knowledge base the things we have learned from developers, clients, advisors, partners and the industry.”
In addition to internal growth, Ingenious Med will launch an ambitious outreach effort to expand their client base, gain exposure and share knowledge. IM will double conference attendance nationwide, including: SHM Leadership in L.A (September); UCSF in San Francisco (October); Emory/Oschner in Atlanta (November); ACPE in Tucson (November); and World Research Group in Atlanta (December). In addition, look for IM speakers at the following events:
