Steven Liu, MD, Founder, Chairman and CMO Dr. Liu is the founder of Ingenious Med as well as the original creator of Ingenious Med's all-inclusive software solution, IM Practice Manager. He is currently the executive chairman and CMO of Ingenious Med as well as a practicing hospitalist.  He was previously an Assistant Professor of Medicine, a Medical Site Director and the Director of Medical Informatics for the Hospital Medicine Unit at Emory University in Atlanta.  Before his pursuit of medicine, Dr. Liu received a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Virginia and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Washington University, Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Dr. Liu is actively involved in multiple projects involving revenue cycle optimization and government Pay-for-Performance drives. He is an active member and fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine and currently sits on the Society’s Practice Analysis, Practice Management and IT Task Force committees.     S. Hart Williford, CEO and Board Member Hart Williford is the CEO of Ingenious Med. He has more than 30 years experience as an executive in software, revenue management, medical services, sales, and digital media. His experience extends world-wide as a previous leader of Digital Equipment Corporation’s Far East operations headquartered in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Ingenious Med in 2008, Williford held several other senior executive-level positions at leading companies including IBM, Professional Systems Incorporated, NCR, Kirchman Corporation, and Morris Technology. Hart has had significant experience leading software and service companies. In May 1999 he joined H.O. Systems and served as President until the company was acquired by VeriSign in February 2002. While at VeriSign, he continued to oversee the company’s operations as General Manager and Senior Vice President of Wireless Services. Over this five year period, the company became known for excellent service and its revenues grew seven fold. In his most recent position, Hart served on the Board and eventually joined Memorial University Medical Center as Senior Vice President with responsibility for its Cancer Institute, Information Technology, Marketing and Strategic Planning, Foundation and Office of Sponsored Programs, and Business Development and Physician relations and recruitment. Memorial is a two-state academic medical center with US $800 M+ revenue.   Michael G. Pickering, COO/EVP Mike Pickering is responsible for directing all aspects of operations and technology development at Ingenious Med. He has 17 years of experience in the field of information technology and has specialized in technology and software development management for the last twelve years - ten of those in development and implementation of software for healthcare providers. Prior to joining Ingenious Med, Mike led development and project management at Patient Care Technologies, Inc, a leading provider of software for the rapidly growing Home Health market. Mike has a B.S. from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Masters Degree in Science & Technology Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.   Jennifer Errico, Marketing & PR Manager Jennifer  Errico is responsible for managing marketing and public relations at Ingenious Med. She has several years of experience in all aspects of marketing. Her career has included a background in digital media production as well as sponsorship-focused marketing and promotional marketing. Jennifer has also worked in the sales division and customer service divisions of Ingenious Med giving her a very customer focused capability. In her current position, Jennifer works closely with the Executive VP of Sales to ensure that customers are provided with accurate and timely information. Prior to joining Ingenious Med, Jennifer held positions with Turner Broadcasting, Inc., and also worked for CNN. Jennifer also solely produced a television show while she was a student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she earned a B.S degree from the school of Literature, Culture & Communication.   Brian Baker, VP of Finance Brian Baker is responsible for formulating Ingenious Med’s financial strategy, managing the company’s financial operations, as well as evaluating and securing investment and acquisition opportunities.  Brian has over ten years of experience providing business planning, financial analysis, and strategic guidance for startup and Fortune 500 companies.  In his past experience and while at Ingenious Med, Brian has provided financial and strategic guidance for Senior management, and Board members, and helped earn significant returns for business owners and equity investors.  Prior to joining Ingenious Med, Brian founded and served as CEO for Pendentive Financial Solutions Group, an Internet-based collection service company.  In addition, Brian has worked as an e-commerce strategy consultant in the airline, gaming and financial services industries, while at Metis Strategy and Luminant Worldwide.  Brian received his BA from Northwestern University and he has an MBA in Finance & Management from Georgia State University.
