Steven T. Liu
Dr. Liu is the founder of Ingenious Med as well as the original creator and developer of Ingenious Med's flagship product, IMBILLS - Office. He is currently the Director of Medical Informatics for the Hospital Medicine Unit at Emory University. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine for the Section of Internal Medicine, the Assistant Medical Director at an Emory affiliated hospital, and a practicing hospitalist. Before his pursuit of medicine, Dr. Liu received a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Virginia. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Washington University, Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Dr. Liu is actively involved in multiple projects involving handheld medical applications for decision support, error reduction and compliance.

Mohan Gounder
Dr. Gounder is the owner of Aosta Health, a medical content company which serves clients such as the Discovery Channel in distributing medical information. He is also an Instructor in Medicine at Northwestern University. He earned his B.S. in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Michigan and stayed at the University of Michigan to complete his M.D. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Emory University. His interests include health education and designing applications that improve the delivery of medical information to the public.

Geoffrey Marx
Dr. Marx is an Instructor in Medicine for the Section of Internal Medicine at Emory University and a full-time hospitalist. He started his education at Duke University where he received initial training in electrical engineering, before finishing a B.S. in Chemistry. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. His research interests are in Healthcare Informatics and handheld computers, and he routinely presents at national meetings regarding handheld medical applications. Currently he is the lead hospitalist at an Emory-affiliated hospital, and the web editor for the Society of Hospital Medicine's e-newsletter.

Thomas Koss
Tom is currently the Reimbursement Coordinator for the Emory University Department of Internal Medicine and the Manager of Compliance Training Monitoring and Development for the Office of Compliance Programs at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, GA. Previously, he was a Consultant with a local Medical Consulting Firm and has been responsible for hundreds of Coding and Compliance seminars nationwide. He has extensive experience in Coding Compliance and Documentation Guidelines, Medicare and Medicaid Rules and Regulations, Managed Care Contracts and Front Office Management, and other physician services such as chart audits, documentation reviews, fee analyses, and comprehensive medical office/staff reviews.

Brian C. Baker
Brian is responsible for formulating Ingenious Med’s financial strategy, managing the company’s operations, as well as evaluating and securing investment and acquisition opportunities. Brian has over five years of experience providing business planning, financial analysis, and strategic guidance for startup and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Ingenious Med, Brian founded and served as CEO for Pendentive Financial Solutions Group, an Internet-based collection service company. In addition, he has worked as an e-commerce strategy consultant for Metis Strategy and Luminant Worldwide. Brian received his BA from Northwestern University and he has an MBA in Finance & Management from Georgia State University.

Michael Pickering
Mike Pickering is responsible for directing all aspects of technology development and IT operations at Ingenious Med. He has 13 years of experience in the field of information technology and has specialized in technology and software development management for the last eight years - six of those in development and implementation of software for healthcare providers. Prior to joining Ingenious Med, Mike led development and project management at Patient Care Technologies, Inc, a leading provider of software for the rapidly growing Home Health market. Mike has a B.S. from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
